On Saturday, January 31, 2009, the Amtrak Coast Starlight was pulling a pair of vintage streamliner cars: the Southern Pacific Overland Trail and the Boston and Maine Salisbury Beach.

The Boston and Maine Salisbury Beach is is a Pullman sleeper with six roomettes, four bedrooms, and six sections. It was built in 1954.

Conductor Bill Hatrick of the Overland Trail stands at the door of the Salisbury Beach.
These two vintage rail cars will pass through the area again on May 16 at the beginning of a tour of the Pacific Northwest.

On Thursday, June 30, 2005, the Amtrak Coast Starlight was pulling two vintage rail cars, the Southern Pacific Overland Trail and the Pennsylvania Colonial Crafts.
